Hearing "Maybe Memories" by The Used

Sometimes I just hate people in general, no offense to you by the way. Even more I dread social interaction with the average human being. Words spit like fire and there's always this chance that you're stuck with that piece of the puzzle that doesn't seem to fit anywhere, maybe some unfortunate mix-up during packaging.

If you're anything like me, you are stuck with that lonely, discarded, and unruly piece the majority of the time. You wonder why you care so much about what others think of those said words. You wonder why you even care to share that piece with the world, because in the back of your mind you're feeling like telling all of them to "go fuck yourself" anyway. I've lost you-I'm sure of it.

You think that you can just, maybe, look at the world differently for a while. Optimistic is the word I'm looking for-you think it's just a small vision problem augmenting your reflection. You get new, but cheap glasses, and for a while you even manage to make this mirage that you are finally living what other's refer to as a normal life. But unfortunately the smoke fades, your decaying emotional state begins to give off a small stench, and the rug is quickly pulled from beneath your feet. You beat yourself up from the inside out for being such a fucking idiot, and you realize that life will be nothing but that reoccurring nightmare of high school.

Dark and morbid, but you come to welcome it. With pain comes nothing but knowledge and some of the best damn inspiration you've ever had. Honesty, you wouldn't have that 'A' in Drawing class or that praise from your English professor if it weren't for the eventful and condescending right hook life dealt you in your left eye for the last month. You politely ask for a matching left hook in your right eye, because while life is a sweaty, overwhelming bitch, the least it could do is even you out a bit.
