The Pit

Hearing "Art Is Hard" by Cursive

Sorry it took me so long to tell you about the concert. I haven't been feeling so great as you've probably noticed from my last couple of entries. I'm feeling slightly better, but these things don't just go away over night.

Anyway, I had a GREAT time. We were unknowingly waiting in line for the pit. I was too excited to go to boring seats after I figured out why the first few people took off running after their tickets were checked. It was my first time in the pit, and wow...it was crazy. I've never been that close to people in my entire life. I must have had DNA from 100 people on me by the end of the concert. I grabbed a guy I didn't know for dear life when I got knocked off balance, got kicked in the nose by a crowd surfer, and got a bit of a buzz from this group of guys smoking weed next to us. Most importantly I screamed lyrics until I nearly lost my voice, and got to see a shirtless Brandon Boyd up-close. Breathtaking. I'll never forget it.
