linkinxero's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vintage MTV Hearing nothing I watched Behind the Music: Guns n' Roses for the third time today. I don't even like them that much, but I found it kind of amusing. I seriously didn't know Slash was half black! I thought he was just Jewish or something. Heh. I remember being like 3 years old dancing in front of the TV while the "Welcome to the Jungle" video was on. Then I remember being obsessed with "November Rain". There's like this millisecond flash of a statue (or something) crying blood in the video. It's like way in the corner so it's hardly noticeable, but I guess it was subliminally stuck in my brain. I was going to kindergarten at a Lutheran elementary school at the time, and there's this large statue in front of it. For like 2 months my grandmother had to walk me to the back entrance of the school because I was afraid it would start crying blood and move. For some reason I did love Axl back then. I was a weird kid. Other than Gumby, Rin Tin Tin, and Sesame Street I watched nothing but MTV from age 3-7. Old Headbanger's Ball was the shit.
